The Brief

MECVAC Engineering is a South Australian-based manufacturing engineering and project management company specialising in process plant equipment and air handling solutions.

Facing the demise of the automotive sector in South Australia, the client decided to develop a fresh marketing and sales plan. An important component of this strategy was to ensure the company’s web presence strongly presented its desired positioning and capabilities, and aligned with priority market/customer segments that were to be the focus moving forward.

WebEdge won the Project (which included a review of brand messaging, competitor analysis and other market research) because of our expertise in strategy and digital marketing.

The Work

WebEdge started with a review of the old website, competition and sector innovation to identify key target market insights, trends and opportunities. This enabled us to work with the client in developing key messaging and sales channel pathways for the design (architecture), content and functionality of the new website.

SEO, social media integration, video and multi-device responsiveness were incorporated to ensure the site reflected the client’s technical capabilities and aligned with their priority market and customer segments.

The Outcome

Instead of just advertising ‘the client’s services’, WebEdge developed a website with messaging strategies that positioned the brand to be in-sync with the qualities most sought by their target industries and customers.

The result is a website that is not only visually impressive and modern in functionality but most importantly, full of information that is of keen interest to prospective customers.
